Head of Finance / Finance Director

Job description

Engage in strategic planning and analytics for Asia ex Japan. Assist in exploring and evaluating strategic opportunities in Asia ex Japan
Manage Audit and Internal Audit processes for funds and corporate entities. Review statutory accounts for group companies and funds, and to ensure timely delivery of required financial statements
Manage cash flow forecast, FRR reporting for regulatory purposes
Manage satellite offices’ financial reporting in Asia
Manage the monthly delivery of management reporting package, analytics of variances, and annual budgeting review
Manage MPF funds and Private Equity funds reporting, quarterly capital account statements, call & distribution notices, periodical and ad hoc investor enquiries
Oversee day-to-day finance operation of funds and corporate entities such as expense payments process
Build and improve a Finance team with the development of staff and institutionalized processes in mind
Chair Risk Committee and coordinate risk analytical review

Job requirements

An experienced finance professional with proven track record in Accounting and Finance
Strong knowledge of Asset Management business particularly various distribution channels, fund structure and reporting practices, and Private Equity/Hedge fund operations
Strong regulatory knowledge and experience including but not limited to liquid capital rules, capital requirements, related party transaction requirements, currency controls
Strong competence in the technical aspects of finance and accounting including US GAAP/IFRS, accounting practices and procedures, regulatory reporting requirements
