Group Senior Accountant

GROUP SENIOR ACCOUNTANT
Job Description :

Responsible in full spectrum of accounting, budgeting, taxation, treasury, management reporting function and variance analysis reports.
Manages consolidation accounts of Holding company and its subsidiaries/branches. Ensure the accounts are prepared accurately and timely.
Liaise with auditors, tax agents, bankers, lawyers and relevant authorities
Enforce, develop and improve SOP, systems and processes to tighten the internal control on finances to maximize efficiency and minimize loss.
Work closely with Finance team in developing and implementing system/controls for improvement relating to accounting, costing and reporting.
Have experience in UAT test to roll out new accounting ERP software.
Candidate of suitable background may be considered for another position in overseas.
Undertake special assignment, ad hoc duties assigned by the management.

Requirements :

Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accountancy or equivalent.
Member of MIA, ACCA or equivalents are welcomed to apply.
At least 5 Year(s) with good mixed working experience in smaller and larger organization or listed company will be prioritized.
Prior audit experience in big accounting firm is preferred. Have good skills in coordination and regular follow up.
Candidate with some knowledge and experience on construction industry will be added advantage.
Conversant in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin.
IT savvy, prior knowledge of cloud applications and ERP accounting software will be added advantage.
Able to handle bookkeeping and operate UBS accounting system is an advantage.
Able to provide training guidance via Zoom meetings to accounting staff who are based in overseas.
Cheerful, positive, open minded and have good learning abilities.
Remuneration will be commensurate with our Company's assessment of candidate's experience and capabilities.
