A major European Investment bank is looking to bring onboard a VP to lead a small audit team focusing on Global Markets/Treasury.
Responsibilities
Partner the Regional Head of Audit (based in Singapore) in audit planning and lead the Global Markets audit team to complete the planned audit cycle. Complete audit assignments using risk based audit approach through evaluating governance framework, risk management and regulatory compliance processes and internal controls systems. Provide value-added opinions and recommendations to improve the design and effectiveness of internal controls. Be a change agent to facilitate transfer of best practices and be a contributor to the further development of internal audit to meet business growth aspiration. This is ahighly visible role, as you will be expected to interact with senior management and staff members across the organization globally.
Requirements
You are degree qualified with at least 9 years of relevant experience within banks and ideally holds a professional qualification (CPA/CA/CIA). You must have at least 3 years of team management and/or audit leadership experience. Possesses good audit skills and understanding of risks and controls relating to Global Markets/Treasury. You have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to operate under pressure independently. Excellent interpersonal, communication and report writing skills.
