Simply Recruit are seeking an Accounts Assistant to join a leading Letting Agency in Glasgow's south side, working alongside the Senior Financial Controller and the team to ensure the smooth running of all the Lettings accounts.
The Role
The role is to support the Lettings department, ensuring that rental payments are received in a timely fashion and landlords' accounts are fully up to date, as well as dealing with suppliers and contractors payments and reconciling their accounts.
A very strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel is essential to be successful in this role, previous experience in accounting software such as Sage would be advantageous.
The Candidate
We are seeking a candidate who has a real strong attention to detail, analytical and can multitask. The role will involve speaking to contractors and landlord clients so sound communication skills are also required.
This is a great opportunity to join a well-known and respected Letting Agency in their finance team, although a one year fixed term contract, there are likely to be opportunities to apply for internal permanent roles. At the very least you will enhance your CV with some fantastic hands on experience and working with a really experienced Senior Financial Controller.
