ABOUT THE PROJECT
Areas of functionality will include key areas across interbank payments lifecycle such as the settlement model, liquidity management, client and central bank reporting, ISO20022 messaging, the payment process flows, and client portals to monitor and update payment configuration.
You will provide a business analyst team to support user stories writing service aligned to prioritized epics from the backlog and provide in-sprint and testing support to respective test phases such as test scenario review, demo, and Systems Integration Testing. The purpose of these user stories is to enable the engineering teams to build the required functionality in support of the client's requirements.

Responsibilities
- Clearly understand the requirements from the client
- Translate the meaning of the EPIC's to the Payment Networks providers' system functionality
- Clarify any ambiguities with the product owner and elaboration team lead
- Breaking down the assigned EPIC's into stories to an agreed quality threshold
- Working with the Lead Business Analyst, Product Owner, and Build team lead to gain acceptance of the story into a build
- To make sure all relevant documentation aligned to the story is provided
- Support of the development team in explaining the story
- Be the port of call for your stories to answer any queries
- Support testing teams with a knowledge transfer of the meaning of the story to enable test scripts to be written
- Review of test coverage in line with the stories
- Greater than 3 years of business analysis experience in Financial Services and ideally interbank payments
- Proven background in story writing, decomposing epics, and gaining a deep understanding of the subject matter
- Ability to decompose EPICs to Stories
- Ability to support remote development and system test teams
- Ideally having worked in a multi-vendor environment with remote scrum teams
- Ideally, knowledge of instant payments (SEPA, Faster Payments, or other ISO20022 schemes)
- Proven ability to produce draft UX design and user journeys
- Evidence of quality controlling stories
- Flexibility to work in line with the UK time zone
- Flexibility for short term travel
- Strong English Language skills
- Experience in large international organizations
- Experience in interactions with Vendors on product selection and proofs-of-concept
- Ability to work with a variety of business and IT stakeholders
