You'll play a key role in helping Sky shape and communicate its near and long term financial plans to the executive management team, which will require partnering with various business stakeholders across our markets to interpret and analyse financial performance.

You'll play a key role in helping Sky shape and communicate its near and long term financial plans to the executive management team, which will require partnering with various business stakeholders across our markets to interpret and analyse financial performance.
What you'll do:Financial Leadership
- Accountability for Sky Group Financial Planning, delivering the annual Budget & quarterly re-forecasts seamlessly, presenting highly synthesised information to the Group CFO
- Excels at partnering with senior stakeholders across all markets, working closely with the FP&A Directors/market CFOs to ensure we have robust financial plans which are well understood
- Brings insightful financial analysis which creates value - demonstrates good judgement, presentational skills and influencing skills
- Prioritises work effectively, enabling the delivery of high-quality work at pace to the FP&A Directors, Group CFO / Group CEO by leveraging the team / wider market resources as required
- Provides guidance to the team by acting as a sounding board for ideas / suggestions
- Lead and develop a high-powered team of qualified professionals - provide visible leadership, give clear direction, lead from the front
- Ensures there are clear objectives and escalates blockers to delivery as appropriate
- Provides team direction by allocating resource across the team to meet deliverables and to avoid conflicting requirements; taking consideration of both short and long term goals
- Holds career development and performance conversations with their team and ensures they all have development plans in place. Provides one-to-one coaching to team members and mentoring to wider Sky Finance.
- Ensures team output is accurate and timely. Promotes a culture where existing practices and processes are challenged and improved upon
- Ensures team are kept up to date with finance agenda / priorities
- Support the delivery of the wider Sky finance People Agenda within their department Demonstrating significant drive behind objectives
- You'll be a qualified accountant with over 7 years PQE and shown good progression whilst still on an upward trajectory
- You will have held a group finance management within a global matrix organisation
- Demonstrable experience of supporting businesses growth through financial management
- Experience of working closely with shared service centres
- Demonstrable people management and people development skills
