Accountant (5 days week)

Responsibilities:

Closing and finalizing overall accounting functions which include preparation and timely submission of consolidated accounts, financial and management reports for the group of companies.
Financial analysis and interpretation of financial data.
Assist in preparation of financial forecast and projection.
Compliance and preparation of tax return and queries.
Liaise with tax agents, Company's Secretary and External Auditors.
Comply with relevant legislation and commercial agreement that relates to Accounting and Financial matters.

Requirements:

At least a Bachelor's Degree, finalist in Professional Study in ACCA,CIMA, MIA or similar recognized accounting bodies.
At least 5 year(s) of working experience in related role under consumer products industry.
Preferably working experience with public listed company (PLC) / IPO.
Able to prepare consolidation accounts of local & oversea companies.
Practical experience in Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
Knowledge of statutory requirement, local GAAPs and Corporate taxation is preferred.
Proactive and able to work under pressure to meet reporting datelines.
Good leadership and communication skills to command a team of more than 20 members.
Able to work independently in a fast moving environment.
Positive thinking & willing to learn.
