The opportunity
An exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic, growing team in the EY Innovation Incentives team, based throughout the UK. We are looking for a Manager level candidate to be based out of Birmingham or Reading.
The successful candidate will get the opportunity to work as part of the wider Business Tax Advisory group at EY, in a diverse team of highly successful tax and industry specialists. Serving a variety of very high-profile clients (FTSE 100 and 250 multinational companies), we support companies in claiming the R&D tax credits which were introduced by the government to encourage UK companies to invest in innovation.
You will be required to work closely with the finance & tax departments of our clients across different sectors and will be responsible for analysing and compiling the financial aspects of the R&D claim and ensuring compliance to tax legislation. You will play an active role in developing the tax aspects of the R&D reports for submission to HMRC and taking part in extensive client communication.
This role offers the benefits of working in a regional office whilst retaining the strong links to the National team. Successful applicants will be based primarily in the regional office but will work on projects for team members across the country in all sectors to support the team and further aid your career development.
There is a clear path to progression for the right candidate and this is a unique opportunity to progress your career in one of EY’s leading tax teams.
