Your new role
This position works remotely on a short roster (2:1) with some flexibility around home working on occasion. There will be a small amount of travel required in the position between the site, Cairns and Brisbane to work with internal and external stakeholders. The role is broad and varied - there is a strong element of hands on accounting coupled with the provision of detailed financial reporting. Whilst this position has no direct reports, it is a senior role within the company and will grow in responsibility and accountability over time. The position reports to the CFO.
What you'll need to succeedWe are seeking an experienced Accountant with broad experience in commercial industry. Any remote experience will be particularly useful along with a pragmatic, solutions providing attitude. You will be happy to operate across the complete sphere of finance and accountancy with cash flow management, budget planning and strong systems experience.
