STRATEGY & DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATE – TECHNOLOGY, MEDIA AND TELECOM SECTOR

Masan Group Corporation is looking for a young and ambitious professional to join our Strategy & Development Team with a focus on Technology, Media & Telecom (TMT) sector. In this role, you will be part of a young team that drives the digital transformation of Masan businesses to build a leading digital consumer ecosystem in Vietnam.
What you will be doing:
• Supporting team leaders in executing M&A and JV transactions in Technology, Media & Telecom sector
o Assessing market potential and business performance of target companies
o Building financial models and drafting presentations
o Assisting in the due diligence and closing process of all transactions
• Assisting team in equity-raising deals with large institutional investors
• Liaising with business partners at acquired targets and investors post deals
• Developing and implementing group-wide and business unit strategy 
o Supporting management teams at subsidiaries on building both short-term and long-term strategy
o Working closely with management across business functions in building business model and financial planning on transformational projects 
What do we expect from you:
• At least 3-5 years of experience in one of the following sectors:
o Technology firms or fast-growing startups
o Digital/online division of a non-tech company
o Leading consumer/ retail business 
o Management Consulting with exposure to consumer or TMT sectors
• Passionate about technology, its impacts and associated business opportunities
• Strong analytical skills, able to perform quantitative analyses and make recommendations based on data
• Familiar with one of the following areas:
o Financial planning and analyses
o Financial modelling and valuation
o Management accounting
• Exposure to product management, data analytics or software development is a strong plus
• Result-oriented and strong ownership of your work
• Perform well under pressure and tight deadlines
• Ability to communicate effectively in English and Vietnamese
