Job Description

CACI is currently looking for outstanding IT candidates to join our DHS program in the National Capital Region. CACI provide a variety of IT services including cyber security, identity and access management, risk management, cloud integration and engineering, field support services, service desk, application deployment and optimization, and operations center support services. CACI provides support to classified and unclassified IT operational environments increasing availability and security for a variety of applications and systems.

What You'll Get to Do:
  • Partner with DHScustomer, operations, and business teams to develop a cohesive Information Security Strategy, Policy, Procedures and a roadmap (schedule, cost, effort, benefit model) for implementation.
  • Collaborate across peers on IT Leadership team to influence IT Strategic direction, and to shape solution delivery to protect customers data and systems.
  • Provide leadership and management of the Compliance and Risk Team and 3rd parties providing IT Security services.
  • Mentor, develop, and grow next generation IT Security leadership.
  • Proactively engage with the broader Information Security community and proactively lead IT Security team to address technology shifts and threats on the horizon.
  • Oversee / manage response to major threats.
  • Protect valuable information and maintains the confidentiality and integrity of data through: Knowledge of security management, network & protocols, data and application security solutions.
  • Knowledge of industry trends and current and emerging risks.
  • Monitors and reviews regulatory updates and issues relative to pertinent security regulations (which could include NIST and DHS).
  • Support Cyber Security monitoring and incident response process; proactively work with the SOC team to provide seamless integration and communications.
  • Support Information Security Related audits (customer audits, OIG, GAO, etc.).
  • Provide oversight for core new solutions / services being designed, constructed, and delivered within the IT Security's span of responsibility.
  • Leverage / engage the Program Manager and customer IT Leadership team to help achieve mission / strategy of IT Security team.
  • Provide security compliance support for all systems.


More About the Role:
  • Work independently or as a project team lead responsible for providing technical guidance related to the business implications of the application of various systems.
  • Provide technical consulting on complex projects.
  • Devise and/or modify procedures to solve the most complex technical problems related to computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time and form of desired results.
  • Act as liaison between end-user communities, stakeholders, and service providers within an enterprise.
  • Create detailed specifications from which programs will be written.
  • Provide technical assistance in identifying, evaluating and developing systems and procedures.
  • Consult and coordinate with systems analysts and programmers to design and develop business systems.
  • Analyze client resources, including funding, personnel, and unfunded requirements.
  • Analyze business and user needs, documents requirements, and revises existing system logic difficulties as necessary.
  • Track and document changes to functional and business specifications.
  • Monitor and document post-implementation problems and revision requests.
  • Develop, coordinate and implement plans to test business and functional processes during system development and quality assurance testing.
  • Train and provide guidance to less experienced Business Systems Analysts.


You'll Bring These Qualifications:
  • US Citizenship required
  • An active Entrance on Duty (EOD) is required to begin employment and must be maintained as a requirement of continued employment
  • Contract requires the candidate to possess a Master's Degree or higher and/or 15+ years of experience
  • CISSP required
  • Strong project management and people management skills
  • Must have an active Top Secret Security Clearance
  • ITIL v4 certification required within 90 days of hire
