Qualifications
- Must successfully complete the required pre-employment Background and Drug Screenings
- Must possess a valid Driver's License which meets company standards for approved driver status
- Must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
- Must possess two years of experience in Accounting with a background in grant or cost reimbursement accounting
- Must possess strong computer skills
Essential Functions
- Responsible for the preparing reimbursement packages for the grant within specified deadlines
- Responsible for the preparation of journal entries for review by the Controller
- Performs monthly reconciliations of balance sheet accounts
- Analyses actual to budget variances and obtain explanations from the field offices
- Responsible for the preparation of audit schedules for external auditors, and other reports for analysis as requested by management
- Monitors approved expense line items for individual grants and advises management of potential reallocations
- Performs grant closeout functions as required by Grants and Contract Administration
- Prepares special studies and analysis as requested by Controller
- Travels to meetings with State officials as needed
- Performs all other duties as assigned
