This dynamic business is expanding considerably and has presence throughout Australia. They are seeking an experienced Accountant to take responsibility for several their companies which are projected to grow considerably. On-going company success is likely to lead to this role progressing into a management position. This role is offered on a part time basis (0.6FTE) and has flexibility to be worked over three full days or extended over 4 or 5 days. You'll work with a high calibre team who are passionate about the business and excited by the opportunities ahead.
Your new role
You'll report to the Directors of the business and your role will evolve as the business expands. Duties will include but will not be limited to the following:
What you'll need to succeed
You'll be an experienced Accountant who is ready to take on additional responsibility and prove yourself within a growing company. You'll have diverse financial and management reporting skills and the ability to influence and drive process improvement and develop meaningful reports. You'll ideally be CA or CPA qualified with excellent interpersonal and time management skills.

- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Statutory reporting
- Complete month end reporting procedures and assist with management pack preparation
- Monthly variance analysis and report back to management
- Project cost analysis
- Business partner with the wider company to provide strategic insights
- Financial analysis around revenue, expenditure and other areas as required
- Manage annual audit and general queries
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting and cash flow across divisions
- Assist with year-end financial reporting and budgeting
