SAP Hybris Contract Accounting (FICA) Consultant

Overview:

On time and in budget delivery of Implementation packages. This considers the full life cycle from requirements gathering to deployment incl. post go-live support . Major influence on the ongoing design and management of Tech Data's ERP/ SAP/ Application systems such as (FI, CO, L, SD MM, IBP, Hybris, etc.) Managing sub-projects for the delivery of ERP/ SAP /Application solutions.

Translate SAP requirements to functional specifications for reporting, interfaces, data conversions, enhancements, forms, and workflows.

Proactively recommend, design, develop, and implement business processes and systems involving 3rd party technologies that may or may not interact with SAP in order to effectively meet business objectives. Acts as a liaison between the Technology Department and business units by:

• Opening and maintaining lines of communication to monitor and improve business unit satisfaction with Technology.

• Participating in root cause analysis in order to determine appropriate actions to improve productivity for both the business units and Technology.

Demonstrates proven thorough abilities and success assisting with technical efforts related to SAP applications, including:

• Developing, designing, implementing and supporting business processes in an SAP environment;

• Designing, building, testing and deploying SAP FICO technical solutions, emphasizing RICEFs (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions, Forms) design and development.

• Developing, designing, implementing and supporting complex business processes in an SAP environment.

• Designing, building, testing and deploying SAP FICO technical solutions, emphasizing RICEFs (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions, Forms) design and development.

Job Summary:

• Offer technical solutions to fulfil and implement business requirements with standard methods in SAP in the area of SAP Hybris (BRIM) , especially FI-CA

• Realization of SAP system customization in one or more functional areas within SAP Hybris (BRIM)

• Solve module specific problems as contact person for our internal customers

• Provide functional descriptions and business process support to the development team

• Understand user exits

• Create business standard documentation of all new developments

• Generate test runs for user acceptance test and assist user in executing test

• Coach and assist the trainings department

• Demonstrate flexibility and support for objectives / tasks of other IT organizations

• Provide input to planning process

• Knowledge transfer to Trainers, Subject Matter Experts and for external Consultants

• Deliverables as assigned by stream lead

Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities Required

• 5-7 years business' experience
• Strong expertise in the relevant SAP finance and controlling modules, especially in contract accounting (FI-CA)
• Advanced Excel knowledge required
• Advanced knowledge of Accounting general ledger structures, especially new G/L
• ABAP coding skills for user exits and small enhancements
• Analytic skills
• Industry process knowledge of distribution business and subscription business preferred
• SAP ERP expert configuration knowledge in the area of FI-CA and Hybris
• 2 full life cycle implementations
• Experience in project management
• Strong experience in the functional business area finance
• Customer oriented behaviour and good communicational skills
• Willing to cooperate closely with business and consulting partners; enjoy working in a team
• Willing to travel in case travel might arise
• Ability to work in an international environment
• Language skills: fluent English, one additional European language preferred.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities Required:

• Provide analytical and technical guidance and advice to users and associates regarding functional capabilities of the SAP modules and technical environment. Provide functional descriptions and business process support to the development team (20%)

• Develop and facilitate user trainings on new or modified systems in cooperation with departmental resources. Coach and assist the trainings department. Create business standard documentation of all new developments (5%)

Qualifications:

Experience:

• 5 to 8 Years of relevant work experience.

Education & Certifications:

• Master's / Postgraduate Degree with computer science/ economics Field of Study preferred.
• Bachelor's Degree with computer science/ economics field of study required.
• Other Education / Certifications: SAP certifications in the relevant area

Working Conditions:

• Occasional non-standard work hours or overtime as business requires.
• On-call availability required as necessary.

• Some travel required.
