The Alternative Investments Accountant work as part of a team responsible for compiling and advising on quarterly and annual regulatory reports, such as Form PF and PQR based on reports provided by the Fund Accounting and Investor Services team. Participate in process improvements to enhance current reporting processes. Engages with the client to provide information and answer questions.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance or a business-related field, or equivalent work experience
- Less than two years of related experience
Preferred Skills/Experience
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Thorough knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Previous financial statements preparation experience for Hedge Funds and Private Equity
- Relevant experience in the areas of Finance, Audit, Regulatory Reporting
- Ability to identify and resolve/escalate complex problems with minimal guidance
- Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient computer navigation skills using a variety of software packages including Microsoft Office applications
