Sr. Manager of Financial Accounting

Exceptional Triad employer is searching for a Sr. Manager of Financial Accounting for their high performing accounting team. This position will be responsible for accounting related to investments, hedging activities and foreign currency for this global organization. Specific areas of responsibility for the Sr. Manager of Financial Accounting include:

• Interpret, communicate and implement technical accounting policy throughout the organization related to foreign exchange, investment and hedging activities
• Work with management team and executives cross-functionally and globally to implement policies and ensure appropriate treatment of accounting pronouncements and regulations
• Manage the accounting process for area of responsibility, taking ownership of all accounting and reporting to executive leadership
• Present technical accounting guidance to other business areas and leadership as needed
• Collaborate with other areas within Finance/Treasury to ensure accounting is accurate and follows appropriate accounting guidance
• Analyze financial results and trends to present to management
  
  Requirements include:
• BS/BA in Accounting, with advanced degree
• CPA is required
• 6+ years of experience within public accounting and/or a mixture of public accounting and corporate accounting, preferably with a publicly traded corporation
• Strong technical accounting knowledge, with ability to interpret and analyze complex financial concepts
• Experience in accounting for investments is preferred
• Proven track record of leadership/supervisory success and ability to communicate effectively with all levels within the organization
• Demonstrated ability to be proactively problem solve issues
• Strong desire to achieve career growth and be a part of a best in class accounting team
