The Challenge

Reporting to the CFO, we are looking for an Awesome Group Finance Director to manage the day to day finance functions of a listed entity and our high performing finance team.

You'll take ownership of:
  • internal & external financial reporting;
  • our control framework working alongside our risk team;
  • tax;
  • treasury; and,
  • finance related projects relating to process improvement within the finance function.
You'll assist the CFO with Investor Relations activities, co-ordinate on occasion with the Board of Directors and participate in due diligence for potential acquisitions.

Based in Brisbane, Australia you'll work closely with our Australian Finance Manager and assist the EML Australian leadership team to ensure we are aligned on priorities and... deliver results. On a global footing you'll co-ordinate the EML Group Finance team working with the CFO and regional finance leaders to ensure we deliver on a clear strategy for finance, share ideas, successes (and failures!) building on our strong group culture.

You will be comfortable communicating both internally within the finance team, through to the Executive team or Board of Directors.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced finance professional with International experience to help to continue to shape the long-term success of an established business, as such you'll be;
  • You are a technically strong chartered accountant qualified accountant who has made the transition from Big 4 into a complex ASX listed business. You are ambitious and keen to make an impact in a visible role for a fast growing business
  • Previous Fintech experience a strong preference
  • Experience working in complex listed international groups - multi-entity, multi-country, multi-currency
  • Excellent communicator at all levels of the organisation
  • MBA or other post graduate qualifications & training highly regarded.
