Work you’ll do

Assurance is the insight we provide and the trust our work inspires. We leverage the skillsets of accounting professionals to enhance stakeholder confidence in client decisions that drive markets and organizations. Our Assurance practice team offers an in-depth accounting reporting assurance (ARA), accounting operation assurance (AOA), disruptive event assurance (DEA) and business assurance (BA).  We help our clients across all industries assess and enhance quality, efficiency and effectiveness of the Finance people, process, infrastructure, and internal controls.

Benefiting from early client exposure and learning from some of the top practitioners in the field, you will be involved throughout the lifecycle of some of the largest, most complex and high profile deals in our key market (HCM and HN) 

Your responsibilities: 

Opportunity development for Assurance Services, introducing new services to prospective clients as well as identifying cross selling opportunities;
Develop and work in collaboration within Deloitte for lead generation activities target at clients and industries;
Follow up on the sales leads to realization of contracts / projects. This includes regular reporting of sale pipelines and client activities;
Engage in relationship building activities with clients and alliances to build good eminence;
Provide business and relationship-related inputs to project team during the preparation of presentations and proposals;
Provide feedback to the project team, facilitate and help resolve objections to secure the contract;
Able to present and facilitate key discussions with clients and focus groups;
Continue maintaining relationship with the new clients during the course of project delivery;
Continue maintaining relationship with the clients to help generate additional engagements;
Support and collaborate with Business Development Head in Deloitte member firms within Asia Pacific in business planning, opportunities scanning, marketing communications and regional sales execution;

What will your typical day look like? 

You will focus on business development, contribute to market and eminence initiatives, including development of new service offerings and marketing campaigns within the practice, develop materials for and participate in the delivery of presentations to clients and firm personnel, and mentor and develop teams of advisory resources.

Requirements

Must possess minimum 7-years of relevant work experience in a client-facing role.
Good knowledge of the Process Redesign,  Corporate Strategy, Shared Services, Finance Automation and Controller Applications, M&A process / transaction lifecycle / deal process and various parties within it;
Experiences in an in-house finance role or in providing assurance, consulting and advisory services to finance functions and has an interest in serving private companies;
Experiences in delivering of multiple integration and/or separation programs, gap conversion, ERP implementation, facilitation…
Successful track record of leading project teams to deliver mid to large scale programs in a high pressured environment;
Track record of building trusted and lasting relationship with C-suite executives and a strong acumen to bring and commercialize innovative solutions to complex challenges;
Ability to provide insight and deep expertise in a key functional or industry domain and translate it into business opportunities;
Demonstrate performance drive, strategic direction and inspirational leadership abilities to maximize team delivery and sense of followership;
A natural inclination and determination to develop at a professional and personal level and mentor colleagues in doing so;
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to present clearly in presentation or pitches including senior level stakeholders;
CPA/ CA/ ACCA designation or equivalent would be an advantage.
