Audit Assistant Manager | City of London

AJ Chambers are working with a successful practice based in City of London who are currently searching for a highly motivated Assistant Manager with strong attention to detail to join their growing team.

Responsibilities :

* Responsibility for planning and reviewing accounts jobs typically of owner manager businesses with turnover up to £10 million.

* Assist in co-ordinating work across a team of 10 people reporting directly to partner level

* Assisting with the preparation of the accounts for limited companies

* Supervising & support of training staff within the department

The ideal candidate :

* Will need up to date technical expertise in financial reporting standards

* Needs an appreciation of the commercial circumstances of clients

* Must have a strong experience of digital based accounting packages such as Xero and QuickBooks

* The willingness to help develop and support existing staff

* Experience in supervising other members of staff, handling clients, working on their own initiative and who is looking to progress to a more managerial role.

* Experience of Caseware Accounts Production and CCH would be a bonus
