Finance Manager (fully qualified ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)

We have a fantastic opportunity for a fully qualified finance professional with experience of UK GAAP to join our ambitious and growing business.
The Finance Manager Role
As the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for leading the Financial Accounting Team, and compliance with accounting rules under the US GAAP and UK GAAP, assuring the effectiveness of internal controls over accounting and financial reporting.
Your duties will include, although not be limited to:
* Leading and developing team members, ensuring goals are consistent with the company
* Managing the Financial Team in areas of financial accounting, treasury, tax, internal controls, process improvement, business partnering and support, government contract compliance and financial control
* Managing monthly close and year end audits
* Coordinating the external audit, internal audits and participating in all regulatory audits
* Preparing UK GAAP statutory accounts
* Coordinating monthly / quarterly and annual corporate reporting, including analysing the flux and functional spend analysis
* Reviewing and validating all balance sheet reconciliations undertaken by the team
* Identifying non-routine accounting transactions and working with the Site Controller and Corporate Accounting to determine appropriate accounting treatment
What you will need in order to be considered for this Finance Manager vacancy?
* Be fully qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with experience of UK GAAP, and ideally gained within a manufacturing business
* Ability to effectively lead and develop a team, with strong interpersonal skills
* Strong IT literacy, ideally with proficiency in Microsoft A/X

You will be employed on a permanent contract, working 36 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 8.15am to 16.45pm, and 8.15am to 12.15pm on a Friday.
