A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join an established business based near Ely. Our client is currently looking for an Assistant Management Accountant on a 6 month fixed term contract. They are looking for someone newly qualified or a finalist who has a pro-active approach to Finance, ideally from an FMCG background with the ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
Responsibilities will include:
Support the business with key reports on business unit profitability to aid the decision making process you will provide with clear concise commentary and investigation.
Work closely with the commercial and product teams to drive cost-saving.
Analysis, communication and use of relevant financial and non-financial information to drive informed decision making.
You will attend weekly and monthly Operations Exec Meetings and support with financial information.
Take responsibility for monthly management accounts
Provide detailed analysis on overheads, labour costs etc
You will take ownership of allocated accruals and cost analysis
Balance Sheet Reconciliation
You will have involvement in the annual budget setting process.
