The Director of Premium Finance will work with the President of Stonemark to determine long-term strategic goals and assist in the planning and execution of these objectives . This position has significant advancement opportunities to a senior leadership role.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct strategic planning and penetration of emerging brands that can be developed into long term relationships
- Screen potential business deals by analyzing the strategies, growth potential and financial impact, as well as formulation of new business verticals and their development
- Actively contribute to and manage the divisions input into the corporate strategic planning process
- Assist in the preparation of the annual budget, manage account revenue targets
- Direct responsibility for building market position and diversification by locating, developing, defining, negotiating and assisting to win business relationships
- Present status updates for all prospective business to President
- Network through technology and other means, attend seminars and trainings, and participation in trade association meetings
- Work with other department heads to monitor each department and make recommendations
- Manage a balanced scorecard with a strategy map to analyze current business challenges and map specific goals and objectives to achieve future goals
- Learn and develop a strong expertise of the premium finance industry
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing or related discipline; or equivalent combination of education and work experience
- 5+ years of finance and sales experience
- Experience in previous leadership roles
- Demonstrated history of success managing strategic goals and specific sales targets
- Strong organizational, prioritization, and time management skills
- Ability to learn and utilize new systems to manage business and present information
- Demonstrated ability to foster teamwork and collaboration; can motivate others both internally and externally to perform
- Ability to work independently with little to no supervision
- Ability to work flexible hours and work remotely with various corporate departments
- Ability to access the local competitive environment and develop appropriate B2B strategies
- Refined interpersonal skills to engage with others; solid negotiating and conflict resolutions abilities
- Demonstrated commitment to developing professionally and contributing to the long-term growth within the company
