Summary
The SEC Reporting Accountant/Manager will be directly responsible for preparing the Company's SEC filings. In addition, the position will also assist in monthly/quarterly close procedures, participate in ad hoc projects and complete financial statement analysis. Determination of actual title (Accountant or Manager) and salary will be based on the candidate's experience/qualifications.

• Preparation of the quarterly and annual reports on Form 10-Q/K and manage the internal and external review for these documents.
• Preparation and filing of 8-Ks and other periodic SEC filings.
• Assist in the review of the quarterly earnings release.
• Assist with preparation of regulatory reports.
• Support month-end and year-end closing through the recording of journal entries and preparation/review of general ledger reconciliations.
• Perform financial statement variance and other analysis.
• Participate in ad hoc projects.
Job Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting or Finance.
• Three to seven years of public accounting, or public company experience within an accounting department.
• A solid, general understanding of US GAAP.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to execute and follow-through to completion.
• Ability to efficiently and effectively communicate with various departments and positions throughout the Company.
Desired Requirements:
• CPA
• Three plus years of experience in a public accounting firm auditing financial institutions or working directly within a financial institution's financial reporting department.
• Experience with FDICIA/SOX controls.
• Experience with SEC and/or regulatory reporting.
• Comprehensive knowledge of GAAP and regulatory reporting rules and regulations.
