Job summary:
Responsible for overseeing the operations of Woman's Hospital and Woman's Physician Practice Management centralizedbusiness office. Manages billing supervisor, follow up supervisor, patient services coordinator and physician practice management coordinator. Serves as departments primary contact for vendors including banking institution, clearing house and collection agencies. Responsible forimplementation, maintenance and revisionof policies, procedures and performance standards related to billing, cash posting, insurance follow up, refunds, customer service and patient collections.
Job Knowledge :
Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook and Access) required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as supervisory skills, are a must. Requires considerable knowledge of compliant billing practices. Knowledge of CMS rules and regulations required. Must have ability to make critical business decisions that impact hospital operations.
