Job Description:

Johnson & Johnson Vision Care is recruiting for Associate Manager Finance role, located in Mumbai

The candidate will be responsible for overall BUF role of Vision Care Business Financial planning and analysis, Monthly & Quarterly Financial closings, working on long range planning, business partner of Vision Care franchisee, close coordination working with GS, Taxation, statutory audit, legal audit , COE at Country and APAC level. Must be having excellent excel and PPT workings.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Support
    t
  • Provide financial analysis and support for various franchise initiatives of the responsible Franchise
  • t
  • Provide financial analysis and support.
  • t
  • Lead Business Planning process within the responsible Franchise and CIW P&L line (annual Business Plan, Forecasts/Updates, Strategic Planning etc.) working with other team members within Finance BUF and CoE.
  • t
  • Period closing activities of the responsible Franchise and CIW P&L line (co-work with accounting department), including variance analysis and management report preparation and explanations.
  • t
  • Timely and effective analysis, to drive business, make recovery plans, control and allocate investments and expenses, all with the objective to achieve business objectives of the responsible Franchise.

  • Timely and proactive feedback on financial implications of events to key stakeholders.
  • t
  • Ensure policies and procedures are followed including compliance with WWP / SOX guidelines

Management Support
    t
  • Support and challenge Franchise lead and other Franchise team members, as a core Business Partner.
  • t
  • Proactively make recommendations and take actions to achieve Business Plan.
  • t
  • Support the construction of the Franchise strategy, translate Franchise strategy into Business Planning
  • t
  • Support strong Compliance awareness, within the franchise.
  • t
  • Educate and coach Franchise members, to achieve business growth
  • t
  • Understand the monthly sales trends and drivers by channel / product line and ensure steps are taken to address gaps with Sales and Marketing teams.

  • Participate in New Product Introduction (NPI) by evaluating the opportunities and managing all aspects of financial assessment including ROI, IRR, and cash flow analysis

Compliance Support:
    t
  • Partnering with GS on regular monthly and quarterly closings.
  • t
  • Lead role from francise on internal and statutory audits.
  • t
  • Active role in any other audit from various functions like legal & compliance.
  • t
  • Active role in meeting the financial compliance objectives.


Qualifications

Education:

Preferred Area of Study: Finance/Accounting, CA / CMA or other financial certification.

Experience and Skills:
    t
  • Required Years of Related Experience: ~6 years +
  • t
  • Experience in FMCG/ Health care industry preferred, though not a prerequisite
  • t
  • Strong business partnering skills to influence / partner with business stakeholders
  • t
  • Ability to manage and negotiate with internal/external stakeholders
  • t
  • Strong analytical skills and business acumen
  • t
  • Strong knowledge of Finance / Accounting principles and processes
  • t
  • Should be a strong team player
  • t
  • Independent thinking and strong planning/prioritization are critical to success
  • t
  • Should have passion for data analytics and insights gathering from same

  • Commercial business partners viz. CD and Marketing team
  • t
  • Business Unit COE team and regional team
  • t
  • Shared service Finance teams / Global services

Reporting:
    t
  • Role will be reporting into Associate Finance Director- Vision India.
  • t
  • The candidate will have non-J&J staff reporting to them
