Program Manager

Cognizantis looking for a Program Manager tojoin our Artificial Intelligence and Analytics practice (AIA) for a remoteproject. As a trusted advisor, responsible for providing an approach for theoverall project. As a domain specialist, you will drive technology discussionsand analyze the existing gaps in addressing business needs. You are a thoughtleader-comfortable challenging the status quo to enhance our current servicesand technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Track overall health of the engagement. Able to identifydependencies and risk involved in the delivery of the project.
• Coordinate between onsite and offshore team.
• Coordinate project reviews & status meetings and seek clientapprovals on Cognizant deliverables.
• Work with different stakeholders to promote and achieve projectgoals.
• Participate in designing the overall solution.
• Interface with Cognizant Technology team & APS team tobring-in thought leadership and best practices.
• Understand business requirements and define scope, Prepare projectplan along with estimations & resource planning. Ownership for projectinitiation, planning, execution, control and closure.
• Act as primary escalation point for all issues and problems andIdentify project risks and plan for their mitigation.
• Serves in a mentoring or coaching role only and is not part of thescrum team.
• Capable of managing numerous stakeholders, anticipating theirneeds, and gaining alignment for strategies from executive level stakeholders.
• Strong communication skills (oral, verbal and listening) as wellas the ability to influence key decision makers and understand their points ofview.
• Strong leadership, negotiation and execution skills with theability to drive results, deliver and excel, and own it.
• An agile expert having experience in implementing agile techniquesin different cultures and environments. Take teams through agile ceremonies onan operational level.
• Report project progress and escalate project issues and risks tosenior management team and the project steering committee.
• Work with different stakeholders to promote and achieve projectgoals.
• Has successfully run agile projects of varying size andcomplexity.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 15 years of total work experience in a combination oftechnology development, program management and analytics.
• Knowledge and working experience in cloud data services, Big Data,Data Streaming, ETL, Azure Data lake, Data bricks, AI and Analytics
• Experience with Agile, Account Management Skills, PerformanceManagement, Portfolio Management, Portfolio & Project mgmt (PPM)
