Kelly Services is seeking a Cost Accounting Manager to join our customer in Moosic, PA!. This role can work remotely the majority of the time but must be within a commutable distance of our Moosic, PA site.

    Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for timely and accurate month end close practices within Cost Accounting Department
  • Review entries completed by Cost Accounting Department
  • Review financial reports prepared by staff for accuracy
  • Assist in physical inventory at various facilities
  • Assist in annual standard cost roll (multiple ERP systems)
  • Ensure timeliness and accuracy of item costing
  • Assist in budget and estimate process and auditors as needed
  • Improve financial status by analyzing results, monitoring variances, identifying trends, and recommending actions to management
  • Collaboration and constant communication with multiple manufacturing facilities and other departments
  • Assist in developing reporting models

    Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting, or equivalent experience in accounting required
  • Must have a minimum of 5 years' Accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Proficient in MS Office products
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
  • Strong organization skills
  • Deductive reasoning, problem solving, statistical analysis, and mathematical skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines, while providing accurate data
  • Adaptability to work in fast paced environment with many priority changes
  • Occasional overnight travel as needed

Experience

We are looking for candidates with the following background:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • At least 5 years of experience in cost accounting, standard costing experience is ideal.
  • Must have some form of supervisory experience as eventually this position will take on 4 LDG reports.
  • Must have ERP experience.
  • The ideal candidate will have worked with 30K or more active SKUs.

Salary: $90K-100K
