Financial Controller

JOB DESCRIPTION

Supervise financial operations staff outsourced from Keppel Group
Work with peers in Keppel Group, including Keppel Capital, Keppel Infrastructure and internal / external stakeholders
Overall accountable & responsible for:
- Financial closing and preparation of monthly, quarterly, half yearly and annual consolidated financial and management
- Budgeting and forecasting exercises
- Preparation of tax (current and deferred) computations, and tax returns
Ensure an effective system of internal control and that physical assets are effectively managed.
To maintain and ensure compliance with finance procedures manuals
To manage KMC Joint Venture partners and external lenders for the cashflow and financing requirements of KMC.
Work closely with both external and internal auditors and external financial and taxation advisors to ensure compliance with Group and statutory reporting and tax requirements
Manage the Group's liquidity and operational cash flow requirements in the short and medium term;
Handle other projects and finance related duties as assigned

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Degree in Accounting or Finance. Candidates with an MBA will have an advantage
At least 10 years working experience with several years of leading a mid-size finance team.
Solid technical competency in Singapore accounting and tax compliance. Candidates with some Corporate Finance experience is preferred
Previous audit experience in one of the Big Four accounting firms and with at least 2 years audit manager experience
Experience with the power and utilities industry preferred
Experience in the use of accounting & consolidation software like SAP and Hyperion.
