The Financial Management Department is responsible for delivering an effective financial management service within the Trust, providing strategic advice on business developments, annual planning and budget management. The post holder will be a senior member of Team 2, which is one of three teams which each provide a financial management service to designated Clinical Care Groups and Corporate directorates. They will have specific individual responsibility for supporting one Clinical Care Group effectively operating as part of their management team. The post-holder will also work closely with the Team Leader (Principal Director of Finance - Team 2) and the Deputy Director of Finance (Financial Management).

The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated and ambitious CCAB/CIMA qualified accountant, who is able to demonstrate a proven track record in financial management, academic success and with strong personal qualities, including communication skills, persuasion and team working.

You will possess a high level of analytical skill with excellent organisational skills. Extensive IT skills are required
