The Organisation:
This highly innovative manufacturing and services organisation is currently recruiting for an experienced Corporate Accountant for a 6-month role with strong perm possibility. This business is behind a successful range of products with significant market penetration on the global market. This role represents an opportunity to work for a business that has continued to go from strength to strength and is experiencing significant year on year growth. Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, you will find her to be a good leader, lateral thinker and someone with a proven track record of developing staff. This will be a pivotal role to position you for a future Financial Controller role within the next few years.
The Position:
This position will be responsible for the preparation of all monthly and annual reports, taxation compliance, maintaining the General Ledger, P&L analysis and cash flow forecasting. You will also be responsible for managing all fixed assets. This role will provide you with extensive exposure to the operations side of the business including WIP reporting, budgeting and forecasts. If you are passionate about building on your analytical skills while being able to work in a diverse role, you will find this to be an exceptional opportunity.
This will be a busy role that will require you to demonstrate good technical accounting expertise while working to tight deadlines. Your P&L analysis skills will play a key role in improving margins, minimising costs and supporting the operations side of the business more effectively.
Your Profile:
To truly succeed and thrive in this exciting position, you will need to be disciplined, focused and results driven! You should have excellent communication skills and comfortable interacting with stakeholders across the business. You will need to have the ability to look at the bigger picture and to understand things in context but also able to drill down into the detail.
To be considered for this role, you will ideally have solid commercial experience working as an Accountant for a large, complex business. Ideally you will be CPA or CA qualified. You will also have strong Excel skills and experience working on ERP systems.
