Job Summary
Summary
Play an integral part in the Operation Finance. Work closely with Country Representative, Business Line Leaders, Regional Finance Lead and Country Finance Lead.
Provide guidance, insights and analysis on projects and business lines performance to management for making crucial decisions. Responsible for annual plan and monthly forecasting for all business lines.
Job Responsibilities
  • Assist the Country Controller on planning and forecasting, analyse and assist in preparation of financial and management reports.
  • Manage a team of project accountants and project biller in the day-to-day performance.
  • Perform monthly variance analysis, identify areas that impact the financial performance of business lines and advise on improvements.
  • Monthly review on source of revenue with Business Line Leaders for accuracy and lead the monthly forecast for the operation.
  • Work with FP&A to perform monthly consolidation and variance analysis.
  • Provide support on project related issues within the F&A team.
  • Assist with major projects, providing financial assessments and guidance for strategic projects and business cases.
  • Make recommendations to streamline project accounting workflows and processes.
  • Coordinate various internal and external audits and presentation of findings and specific recommendations to senior management.
  • SOX and policy compliance with regular update as necessary.
  • Any ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements
Requirements
  • Chartered Accountant or CPA or similar qualification
  • Bachelor Degree in Accountancy/Finance or equivalent
  • 10+ years of experience in project and operation finance role overseeing P&L
  • Proven record in project control, budgeting and forecasting
  • Strong systems skills, preferably Oracle, TM1 or Cognos and Insights
  • Prior experience working in MNC and/or dynamic, fast-paced and matrix environment in consultancy service industry
  • Thorough knowledge of finance and accounting rules, processes and techniques
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage internal and external stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications
Skills
  • Experience working with Oracle, TM1 and Insights.
  • Must have excellent leadership and project management and project control skills.
  • Ability to communicate financial jargons with clarity to non-financial individuals.
  • Ability to prioritize and plan work activities to successfully meet tight deadlines.
  • Must be proactive and possess the ability to work independently.
  • Ability to manage competing demands.
  • Strong contributor in a team environment, with the ability to balance team and individual viewpoints and responsibilities.
  • Comfortable managing and reviewing large data sets to identify trends and issued.
  • Highly adaptable to agile, fast paced, dynamic project environment.
