Traineeship Program
• The trainee will learn and master the daily accounting management of a company

• Contribute to different stages of the venture capital deal flow

• Develop an entrepreneurial mindset

• Participate in the fundraising process and understand challenges faced by finance/insurance start-ups

• Work in a dynamic and international environment
Responsabilities
• Handle all basic administrative functions including user account maintenance, reports, dashboards, workflows, and other routine tasks

• Maintaining full set of accounts and preparing budget and forecast for quarter closing

• Complete regular internal system audits and prepare for upgrades

• Ensure compliance with the relevant accounting standards

• Assist business units in generating reports for management

• Other Ad-Hoc analysis/reporting
Qualifications
• Minimum a Degree Holder in in Accountancy or its equivalent

• Entry level are welcome to apply

• Proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint

• Prior knowledge and hands on experience on Xero is a plus

• Good working knowledge of IFRS

• Team player with good communication skills

• Organise and take initiative
Competencies that will be learned
• The trainee gets to know of the basic administrative functions and the software used to perform them

• Trainee learns how to prepare full set of accounts including variance analysis and cashflow for month end and year end closing and gets familiar with forecasting methods

• Trainee is able to perform regular audits of the system and prepare reports

• Trainee will be exposed to industry accounting standards

• The trainee is able to work with other teams and quantify the business

• Trainee will understand our business requirements and goals and perform tasks tailored for our business
