Our client, a renown Global Bank, is hiring a Compliance, VP role to join their Private Banking division

The Talent
  • With more than 10 years of relevant experience, preferably from the Private Banking sector
  • Significant knowledge and expertise of Compliance laws, rules, regulations, risks and appropriate controls
  • Experience with and previous exposure to internal or external control functions and regulators
  • Candidates with immediate or short notice will have an advantage

The Job
  • Oversee a team of Compliance Professionals
  • Responsible for establishing internal strategies, policies, procedures, processes, and programs to prevent violations of law, rule, or regulation
  • Responsible for the design and delivery of a risk management framework that maintains risk levels within the firm's risk appetite and protects the franchise
  • Provide oversight and guidance over the assessment of complex issues, structures potential solutions and drives effective resolution with other stakeholders
  • Assist in the development and administration of Compliance training for the assigned business/product/function
  • Staying abreast of relevant changes to rules/regulations and other industry news including regulatory findings
