Experience: 2.00-5.00 Years
Job Description:
- Be part of team to implement system & process changes to meet the latest Basel/MAS 637 regulatory capital requirements
- Interpret Basel/MAS 637 capital rules, support credit RWA computation and Pillar 1 regulatory submission to MAS
- Produce and analyse Basel portfolio risk reports for board and management committees
- Prepare Basel Pillar 3 public disclosures and conduct benchmarking against peers
- Be part of project team to rollout automated Basel risk reports using the Bank's enterprise data architecture platform
Requirements:
- Degree in Finance or IT/Engineering related discipline
- Strong analytical and logical mind
- Possess the drive and energy to work around constraints to achieve required objectives
- Able to pick up new IT skills quickly with strong inclination to work with data
- Good communication skills and able to interact effectively and harmoniously with colleagues at all level
Competencies to Learn:
- Gain an understanding of the Basel/MAS 637 regulatory capital rules, reporting and public disclosure requirements
- Exposure to the bank's capital computation and Internal Ratings Based (IRB) systems
- Acquire technical skills like SQL, SAS, Power BI and Teradata through on job training
- Acquire project management skills through participation in large scale projects
