Responsibilities

• Responsible for managing the firm's credit exposure to its trading counterparties. Leveraging its extensive expertise in financial, credit and risk analysis, this role ensures that the credit exposure to our counterparts is managed within the firm's risk appetite.

• Assess the credit and financial strength of the counterparts by performing fundamental credit analysis of counterparties using both quantitative and qualitative factors.

• Analyze the credit implications of various financial transactions including debt, equity and etc.

• Coordinate with the Trading department to approve the credit limits and ensure appropriate documentation and risk mitigants to protect against a defaults and minimize potential losses.

• Proactively monitors and assesses credit risk of each counterparty , including market data such as share price, CDS or financial ratio or other appropriate indices and reports the information and its impact on credits/industries to Senior Management in a timely manner.

• Establish and manage credit relationship with counterparties.

• Development and implementation of credit and market risk framework and policies.

• Ensure adherence to company's credit policy and comply with established processes.

• Act in due compliance with contractual obligations and corporate procedures.

• To act within the guidelines and authorities laid down by UNIPEC.

• Take on ad-hoc duties whenever required.

Candidates with more experience will be considered for the the Manager position.

Requirements

• Bachelor degree or above

• At least 5 years of working experience in the related field and prior working experience in the oil & gas, commodities or banking industry is required for this position

• Ability to understand and comply with the Delegations of Authorities

• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

• Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

• Excellent teamwork skills with a preference for action, accountability and developing alternatives and solutions.

• Proficient at working with individuals from diverse backgrounds and the ability to tailor communication style accordingly, acknowledging individual differences.

• Meticulous and strong analytical and writing skills

• Outstanding attention to detail and ability to multi-task

• Proficient at adapting quickly to changing situations
