Head of Internal Audit (Pharma start-up)
Our Client:-
Our client is a pharmaceutical start-up in Singapore and they are currently looking for a Head of Internal Audit to join them.
Job Responsibilities:-
Reporting to the CEO in Singapore, you will be responsible for all financial and non-financial audits and internal control initiatives throughout APAC. You will also serve as an advisor and business partner with the different country teams on audit and internal control matters. Other responsibilities will include preparing of audit reports for senior management and highlight internal control deficiencies, providing timely recommendations.
The ideal candidate is one who is highly independent, technically inclined in IFRS and able to contribute to internal control initiatives. Being a member of the pioneer team, you will need to be comfortable rolling up your sleeves and be hands-on when required.
The Successful Applicant:-

• A recognised accountancy degree or ACCA and equivalent
• At least 10-15 years of relevant experience is required, candidates with Big4 background advantageous
• Ability to speak in Japanese is a must to liaise with Japanese stakeholders, with Chinese language being a plus
• Up to 50% travelling across APAC
