Cost Accountant (Plastic Manufacturing) Ghana, Ghana Job Description Our client is a leading manufacturer of plastic items in Ghana. Key Responsibilities: To Prepare, analyze and report weekly, monthly, quarterly gross margin analysis Assist in month-end closing, analyze inventory evaluation, inventory roll forward Prepare collateral reporting Coordinate with the IT department for system issues, maintenance and development such as production, purchasing, import/export. Analyze cost accounting data and assist with cycle count/physical inventories every day/Weekly/Fortnightly/Monthly Maintain internal control documentation and test internal controls Prepare detailed account analysis and reconcile sales, cost and inventory, liability accounts by customer type by division Review and analyze inventory and margin reports, conduct research and perform analytical studies in regards to cost analyses and profitability Work in special projects as required Ensure timely submission, accuracy and validity of inventory, gross margin schedules to management Coordination with the production team, checking the production entries, wastage and end to end production cycle. Qualification: ICWAI/CMA Experience: 5-10 years experience in plastic industry. Required Skills costing, production cost, account analysis, collateral reporting
