PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

As a Fixed Assets Accounting Manager Consultant, you will be responsible for fixed asset accounting and other areas of general accounting including GL, close and consolidations. In this role, you provide operational support to close the gaps within the team as they are working on company-wide transformation initiatives as well as provide input for Oracle Fusion UAT testing. The ideal candidate will have great stakeholder management and collaboration skills, the ability to navigate organizationally and be a self-starter, looking to jump in and add value to ease pressure on the existing team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE

• Ability to perform day-to-day management of financial accounts
• Apply accounting principles to analyze financial information
• Ensure financial transactions are performed in compliance with company policies
• Prepare accurate and timely financial management reports and statements
• Ensure accurate reporting and analysis of revenues and expenses
• Perform reconciliation activities
• Analyze financial information to prepare weekly, monthly and annual financial reports
• Address and resolve queries in a timely and accurate manner
• Perform accounting functions such as revenue and asset accounting, payroll and cost analysis
• Manage book-keeping and financial systems
• Develop solutions to resolve accounting discrepancies and other financial problems/issues
• Provide continuous management and support of budget and forecast activities

DESIRED EXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
• 5-7+ years of related accounting experience - recent experience in a Fixed Asset Lead role
• Oracle experience required (Oracle Fusion experience even better)
• UAT testing experience required
