Job Description

We are a VC firm located in the Transamerica Pyramid with over $400 million in assets under management. We have an opening for a Manager position in our Finance Team.

The Accounting Manager is responsible for fund accounting and reporting for five funds and related entities. The person is also responsible for the management company accounts and transactions.

Responsibilities include:

- Prepare quarterly and annual financial reporting packages for five fund entities. This includes updating portfolio investment schedules, portfolio company summaries, and preparing capital account statements.

- Prepare quarterly portfolio company valuations via public market comparables analysis, 409A review, and liquidation waterfalls.

- Forecast weekly cash flows at fund level

- Assist in the preparation of and process capital calls and distributions.

- Manage the annual audit for all funds. Prepare all schedules for the audit.

- Work with general partners and portfolio company management to fund investments. Manage receipt of capitalization tables and financing documents from portfolio companies.

- Manage investor inquiries and information requests, including audit confirmations.

- Maintain fund and management company general ledgers including, but not limited to recording of expenses and journal entries in Quickbooks.

- Assist with preparation of external presentations for fundraising and the annual investor meeting. Manage fundraising ShareFile data room.

- Manage all A/P and oversee the administrative team on Expensify and expense reports.

- Prepare pro-forma financial statements and projected financial statements for the funds, including IRR calculations.

- Perform special projects for the Managing Partners.

Qualifications

Ideal Qualifications

2 to 3+ years of experience in venture capital or private equity

Self-motivated and able to prioritize and juggle multiple tasks and projects

Strong organizational skills

Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications

Bachelor degree in Accounting or similar major

CPA a plus
