SGUnited Traineeship: Global Treasury - Ecommerce Associate
Job Description
Ecommerce is a force multiplier allowing expanded customer reach by minimizing staff involvement with mechanical and error prone aspects of the trade execution process and shifting the focus to higher value activity.
You will be part the team involved in the full lifecycle Ecommerce within OCBC's Global Treasury Division. These range from ideation to business case formulation, project execution, delivery and launch of electronic product solutions.
Post launch our responsibilities will be to run the new business and will involve working with internal and external partners toward growth of footprint and revenue.
Ecommerce team members are also encouraged express their creativity in software development and are free to improve existing tools and develop new ones independently.
Responsibilities
- Active participation with eCommerce projects
- Assist with ongoing continuous review of operational processes to help streamline and automate
- Assist with Implementation and back-testing of FX hedging algorithms
- Assist with eCommerce Team daily BAU systems monitoring
- Analyze eCommerce trade flow
- Support and train internal and external users of eCommerce systems Qualifications
- Degree in Engineering, Computing or Science (Math, Stats, Physics)
- Good programming skills. Primarily Python and R, others such as Matlab, C#,C++, Java are a bonus.
- Good communication skills with ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
- Able to work and learn independently.
- Able to multi-task under pressure.
- Familiarity with vanilla FX and Fixed Income products is a bonus.
