The Ideal Candidate should possess the following:
- Business partner to Singapore Group Enterprise Mobility business, supporting the stakeholders in financial performance of the P&L (both revenue and expenses), key value drivers and any accounting related issues.
- Facilitate and be responsible for the month end close of books to ensure that the financials are in line with the business drivers.
- Track performance against comparatives such as Prior Year, Budget, KPIs and highlight any issues and variances for prompt follow-up.
- Analyse and highlight business and industry trends, including both internal and external benchmarking.
- Prepare and review presentation materials periodically for internal management team.
- Generate the financial model and review the assumptions of the business submissions on quarterly forecast, annual budget and outer year forecasts, including finance's critique and risks call-out and mitigation plans.
- Review business cases and develop financial models to assess the financial feasibility of customised bids / offers, capital expenditure and business proposals, including using measures like Return on Invested Capital
- Undertake Product Costing exercise by working closely with Product House and different stakeholders
- Advise Product House / Business Units on the financial and accounting issues / concerns / treatments on business operations requirements to minimise control and reporting risks
- Support key projects including new / change in accounting standards, financial systems and billing systems
- Work with business units or finance teams for continuous improvement of processes
- Any other duties and projects as assigned by Finance Director and CFO
The Ideal Candidate should possess the following:
- Degree in Accounting with at least 6 years of relevant work experience, prior experience in an international external audit firm will be advantageous.
- Excellent analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong business sense with good financial analysis and modelling skills.
- Possesses in-depth understanding of accounting principles and company procedures.
- IT savvy and proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SAP.
- Creative problem solving and decision making skills for unstructured situational issues.
- Highly self-motivated with a positive attitude. Able to work independently.
- Good leadership and project/time management skills.
