European luxury retailer is currently seeking a Finance Controller to play a key role in contributing to their financial success in Japan.

Our client is a European luxury retailer established almost 100 years ago and is well known for their high-end quality and creative designs. Their products are being sold to over 100 countries, with Japan being one of their major markets. During the current economic situation, the company continues to have strong performance by expanding their focus to online distribution.
Description
- Responsible for monthly/annual closing
- Perform forecasting and budget analysis
- Work closely with other business partners in creating business plans and strategies
- Manage finance team members
Profile
- Financial reporting, forecasting and analysis experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proven team leader
- Fluency in Japanese (ability to read and write complex Japanese documents)
