Job Description

This Accounting Manager position is for candidates who can lead daily operations, such as preparing and/or reviewing appropriate ledger entries and reconciliations, maintaining the general ledger system, preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, and assisting with regulatory reporting as applicable. To succeed in this role, you will need the ability to create and monitor the company's accounting and finance operations. Based in the South Jersey area, this Accounting Manager position is a terrific opportunity for full-time employment.
Major responsibilities
• Review the timing, accuracy, and appropriateness of all accounting transactions in order to prepare monthly financial statements in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
• Obtain management information and research business transactions as necessary to ensure accurate and timely accounting of transactions.
• Guide and review the work of other accountants as assigned.
• Prepare and report upon monthly financial statements.
• Present results of operations to management.
Requirements
The ideal Accounting Manager candidate will a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
Other requirements for the Accounting Manager position include and are not limited to:
• 5++ years of experience in all aspects of general accounting
• Previous experience in public accounting and/or Healthcare preferred.
• Able to work independently with attention to detail and follow-through
• Strong organization and communication skills
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Accuracy and attention to detail.
