Job description
Responsible for the full spectrum of Finance and Accounting function to support Logistics Business Unit. WOrk closely with Logistics operation and accounting shared service. Responsibilities include management decision-support, reorganizations, budget control, process improvement and enhancement of Compliance and Internal Controls.
• Manage the overall financial reporting and financial closing in compliance with IFRS and Group reporting requirements • Preparation of annual Business Plan and monitor closely the performance against the Business Plan • Variance analysis of financial results • Preparation of monthly forecast and practice the Plan, Do, Check and Action cycle • Support Management and advise on business and costs performance • Advise on cross border tax implications and GST matters • Provide finance leadership to Business operations • Review, update, reform accounting policies and procedures • Lead initiatives on process improvements and other finance projects.
Job Requirements
• Recognised Accountancy degree or ACCA and equivalent • At least 8 years relevant experience with 5 years managerial experience • Experience in logistics industry is advantageous • Familiar with SAP ERP system • Strong business partnering, analytical, communication and interpersonal skills • Sound knowledge and practical experience in process improvement initiatives and internal control. • Good team-player with strong leadership qualities
