Job Purpose
- Assist the Cluster Finance Lead in managing thefinancial administration of the Research Institutes within the cluster
- Ensure and advice the Institutes on compliance with University'sfinancial policies and procedures
- Foster and maintain a regular working relationship within theInstitutes and central shared service team.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Processing of day to dayfinancial operations of the Research Institutes within the cluster
- Preparation of accurateand timely financial information and reports
- Reviewing and improving financialprocesses and controls
- Preparation of annualbudget exercise and review Institutes financial positions
- Provide advice toInstitutes on financial matters
- Assist with audit reviewand ensure that adequate supporting documentation is available for review.
- Review and ensurecompliance with related tax filing including GST and withholdingtax
- Ensureyear-end closing deadlines are met
Qualifications
- Accounting Degree/ACCA
- At least 3-5 years of relevant working experience
- A team player with good communication and interpersonalskills
- Possess maturity and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail
