Job Description

Business Analyst will be a part of a dynamic Salesforce team of developers and administrators at Ameriprise. This individual will be responsible for end-user support, maintenance and updates to the platform for our TPAG business processes. They will work collaboratively with business users to understand issues, then drive the technical solutions that are aligned with the business strategies and the organization's architectural standards.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a technology/business working team; experienced in delivering technical solutions that meet business and technical requirements
  • Advanced skills with queries, Excel, PowerPoint, analytic software
  • Proficient with SQL queries.
  • Degree focus in Computer Science, Data Science or related field
  • Experience with Nintex (Drawloop), Conga
  • SAS code and query experience


Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day support of US based salesforce.com end user queries via email, telephone & Teams end user requests
  • Handle all basic administrative functions including:
  • User setup and maintenance
  • Report and Dashboard creation and maintenance
  • Account and Contact management using data best-practices
  • Maintaining custom object and junction object configuration and data
  • Assist in training new users, including development, enhancement and maintenance of training materials
  • Troubleshoot issues related to Flows and other automations, escalating findings with comprehensive details to technical team
  • Assist with testing and validation during release cycles
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with US-based users and the TPAG Salesforce team


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent. Minimum 2-4 years relevant work experience
  • Minimum 2 years Salesforce administrator experience
  • Direct experience supporting US-based salesforce.com end-users
  • Demonstrate excellent English verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with Validity DemandTools, other data management tools to support governance
  • Ability to solve complex data and system-related problems
  • Previous use and experience with custom objects and junction objects
  • Proven problem solving and process improvement skills
  • Salesforce Administrator Certification
