POSITION OVERVIEW:

Mumbai Finance Center Business Finance Team Lead
Candidate should have in depth understanding on FP&A processes such as revenue and expense reporting, Capitalization process, Project Financial management (including understanding on project ROI's, Pay back, NPV's).
Candidate should also have strong communication skills, should be a team player and high on collaboration, managing stakeholder's expectation.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Would be a team lead for the Business Partnership vertical in Mumbai leading a team of seasoned professionals
  • Will be required to collaborate extensively with the Finance leadership in NY and other locations and will need to have strong skills in building consensus and driving change
  • Develop and review Board Decks and Quarterly business review documents related to Functional and Product areas
  • Develop process and reporting related to investments and their tracking
  • Work with the investment Lead to standardize and automate investment tracking
  • Summarize conclusions from financial analysis on a pro-active basis and provide key takeaways.
  • Build Financial models for scenario analysis across MSCI P&L
  • Collaborate with Corp FPA to provide targets to the functions and businesses during the annual operating Plan
  • Performing variance analysis (plan vs forecast vs Actual) along with the insightful commentaries and an eye to identify key risks and opportunities
  • Work closely with other team leads within the Mumbai finance center to deliver high quality analytics on business and products including scenario analysis
  • Assist in the preparation of strategic plan and annual operating plan including related calendar of events
  • Exchanging data and having a discussion with multiple stakeholders along with valuable insights on planning, forecasting and other business requirements
  • Assist in the preparation of the quarterly and monthly business reviews
  • Hiring for the Business Performance Vertical in Mumbai as and when needed
DESIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 14-20 years finance experience in a professional business environment is ideal.
  • CA or MBA Finance
  • Proactive approach and self starter, ability to work under pressure and tight timelines
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Proactive individual who should take initiative with an analytical bent of mind.
  • Experience of senior stakeholder management is key - should be comfortable with presenting to Senior leaders and working with remote teams
  • Inclination towards process automation & streamlining
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word & PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work with multiple team members in finance as well as personnel outside of finance
  • Partial overlap of NY hours required to facilitate partnership with stakeholders
