About the Opportunity
As part of our People & Culture team, the Payroll Manager will deliver efficient and compliant payroll services across the ANZ business, ensuring the company remains up to date with enterprise agreements, legislation and regulatory changes as well as maintaining efficient systems, processes and tools to support the employee life cycle and People & Culture operations.
This is a 12-month contract opportunity.

As part of our People & Culture team, the Payroll Manager will deliver efficient and compliant payroll services across the ANZ business, ensuring the company remains up to date with enterprise agreements, legislation and regulatory changes as well as maintaining efficient systems, processes and tools to support the employee life cycle and People & Culture operations.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team of Payroll practitioners to effectively execute operational support and project deliverables
- Ensure our payroll systems are consistently administered in compliance with company policies, government regulations and SOX compliance. Manage system upgrades and testing processes. Identify opportunities for system and process optimization to drive operational effectiveness
- Partner with People & Culture and business leaders to ensure the design and development of Payroll meet the evolving needs of the business. Work effectively with Finance and IT teams, leveraging expertise of others to contribute to continuous process improvements through use of best practice solutions
You will have
- Payroll functional knowledge and experience (e.g. legislation) accumulated over 5+ years.
- Payroll technical understanding of systems, standards and practices - Preceda experience is essential.
- High level of attention to detail and ability to convert complex data into simplified content for end users
- Proven track record in challenging the status quo and finding a better way to get things done
- Strong people management, delegation and coaching capability
- End-to-end process focus and ability to factor in the bigger picture with upstream/ downstream impacts.
- Strong analytical, problem solving and project management skills
