Role: Group Financial Accountant
Location: North Leeds
Working as a Group Financial Accountant, this role has the luxury of reporting directly into the Group Financial Controller allowing you to gain invauable training and mentoring directly from them. Working at group level, you will be responsible for driving the financial control environment for the business.

Working as a Group Financial Accountant, this role has the luxury of reporting directly into the Group Financial Controller allowing you to gain invauable training and mentoring directly from them. Working at group level, you will be responsible for driving the financial control environment for the business.
Highlights of the role include:
- monthly group management accounts
- Month-end reporting packs
- Working with the ops team
- Providing financial insight on month end results
- Managing the audit process
- Developing and improving finance system
Key skills:
- A qualified Accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent)
- Past experience working in a finance role, ideally as a Financial Accountant or someone from practice with audit experience may also be suitable
- Strong systems knowledge, especially with Excel inc pivot tables, V Lookups etc.
- An Accountant who enjoys financial controls and is technically strong
- A good communicator, able to communicate with senior members of the finance and non-finance team
- Excellent written skills
