Work you'll do

You will serve as Associate, Senior Associate or Assistant Manager working closely with 2 to 4 project managers on multiple client engagements and work with a number of colleagues and clients in a wide range of industries. You will have a chance to experience various activities within merger and acquisition life cycle, with focus on transaction services. You are also expected to provide guidance to Associates within your team.

You will play an active role in all aspects of the engagement. This includes writing of proposal, executing of engagement, drafting of report and communication with all levels of the stakeholders.
  • Writing of proposal typically involves conducting research, understanding of the relevant market and industry and identifying information required for the M&A transaction.
  • Executing of engagement normally involves understanding client's merger and acquisition requirements, particularly from due diligence perspective, which will require a good understanding in target's industry and its financial statements.
  • Communication to all levels of the stakeholders includes communicating effectively to all levels of engagement management and participating actively in meetings with clients and/or stakeholders for projects.
  • Supporting your team in market eminence activities.

Requirements

  • At least 2 - 4 years of audit working experience in any reputable accounting firms.
  • Strong academic credentials from reputable universities, 3.0+ GPA with outstanding academic credentials, with relevant degree in accounting, business and corporate finance.
  • Audit and relevant transaction services experience will be an added advantage.
  • Ability to understand and analyse financial statements, industry outlook and business model.
  • Good understanding in merger & acquisition life cycle as well as technical knowledge on accounting standards.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel, Word, PowerPoint and have strong interest in learning Microsoft Power BI and Tableau.
  • Be able to work in a collaborative environment in a diverse team and work independently with minimal supervision when needed.
  • Candidate is encouraged to pursue in professional qualification.
